To the UConn Avery Point Community
I am sad to report to you that a UConn Avery Point student, Marvie Cagle, passed away on Sunday, August 9. Marvie was enrolled in the BGS program, was hoping to complete her degree next spring and aspired to enroll in law school. Those students, faculty and staff who worked with her knew that she was proud to be a UConn student. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, August 13 at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 1 Garvin Street, New London.
