At 8 p.m. on July 11, the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry will host the UConn Puppet Arts Alumni Puppet Slam, featuring short works by current and future alumni, including Anna Fitzgerald, Jim Napolitano, Ana Craciun, Sarah Nolen, and more! The Alumni Puppet Slam will take place in the Ballard Institute Theater, is free and open to the public, and is recommended for adult audiences. Funding for this event is made possible in part by the Puppet Slam Network. The event will take place at the Ballard Institute located at 1 Royce Circle, Storrs Center.
This event is part of the grand opening of the Ballard Institute's new exhibition, "The Work That Follows: 50 Years of UConn Puppeteers," which will be on display through November 1, 2015.
