  • OVPR Spotlight

    The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) would like to congratulate Dr. Radenka Maric, CT Clean Energy Fund Professor of Sustainable Energy, and PhD Candidate in Materials Science and Engineering, Sapna Gupta for being honored by the Connecticut Technology Council as 2015 Women of Innovation.  Maric received the award in the Research Innovation and Leadership category, and Gupta was selected in the Collegian Innovation and Leadership category.  Both conduct research at the UConn Center for Clean Energy Engineering. Maric and Gupta were honored along with other women innovators, role models and leaders in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math as well as outstanding women at the high school and collegiate level. Of the 56 finalists, 10 were recognized as category leaders. Click here for full list of awardees.

    The OVPR would also like to commend four others from UConn/ UConn Health who were recognized as finalists, and an awardee from our partner The Jackson Laboratory for Genomics:
