Creating Compelling Teaching Narratives and Portfolios
    October 28, 3:00-3:50pm
    UConn Hartford - HTB 215
    Presenter: Andi Kent

Teaching narratives and portfolios allow instructors to explain how they execute their craft. They are the compilation of evidence of our effectiveness as instructors. Furthermore, teaching narratives can encourage faculty to reflect on and innovate their teaching in response to best practices and changing educational contexts. This workshop will explore what can be meant by teaching effectiveness, how to document your teaching and how to describe such practices to other, target audiences.
