Leading Effective Classroom Discussion

This faculty development workshop will examine practical, evidence-informed strategies for fostering meaningful student engagement and participation in college classrooms. Participants will explore common barriers to engagement and consider how intentional approaches to classroom design, questioning, learning activities, and instructional practices can encourage students to participate more actively. The workshop will focus on strategies that are adaptable across disciplines and instructional formats.
