First Gen Week is an opportunity to celebrate, support, connect, and uplift First Gen students across UConn Nation and we would love your involvement!
First Gen Day is nationally celebrated on Sunday, November 8, 2026, and UConn will kick off to celebrate First Gen Week from November 8th through November 14th.
We are inviting faculty, staff, departments, and offices to join our First Gen Week Planning Committee. Committee members will meet to discuss collaborative programming opportunities, share ideas, coordinate events, and explore ways to engage and support First Gen students throughout the week.
Whether you're interested in hosting an event, partnering on an existing program, providing resources, or simply learning more about how to get involved, we would love to welcome your participation!
