  • Female Volunteers Needed for Heat Stress Research

    Researchers at the Korey Stringer Institute are seeking healthy adults to particate in a reserch study examining the effects of different types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during exercise in hot, humid conditions.


    Study Purpose
    To examine the effects of two different PPE ensembles and a control condition (no PPE) on physiological and perforamnce responses.

    Participant Committment
    -Multiple laboratory visits
    -Compensation provided

    You may be eligable if you:
    -Are a cisgender female or male (18-40 years old)
    -Are medically cleared by the study physician
    -Can read and speak English fluently
    -Can achieve a treadmill VO2max of 35 ml/kg/min (females), or 40 ml/kg/min (males)
    -Are able to rpovide informed consent
