A waiver of tuition or a partial waiver of credit fees equivalent to tuition is available to most UCPEA and Managerial/Confidential employees on a space available basis for all undergraduate and many graduate courses taken at the University of Connecticut. A waiver of tuition for undergraduate courses taken at the University of Connecticut is available to AFSCME employees. A waiver of tuition is extended to the legal spouses of most AAUP, Law School Faculty, and Managerial/Confidential employees on a space available basis for undergraduate courses taken at the University of Connecticut. Beginning today, August 31st, 2026 and continuing through the 10th day of classes, eligible employees can submit a tuition waiver application through an online platform.
Students will need to register for classes before launching the waiver request.
Employees who register for classes after the 10-day add/drop period will have 3 business days from the date of registration to submit a tuition waiver application.
If you plan to request a flexible work schedule for the Fall 2026 semester, we encourage you to discuss your request with your manager in advance.
