  • 9/23 NIH NINDS Workshop on Multi-System Disorders

From Mechanisms to Medicine: Rethinking the Discovery-to-Care Continuum in Multi-System Disorders is a two-day NINDS workshop bringing together researchers, clinicians, patients, and trainees to explore the science underlying chronic overlapping pain conditions (COPCs), infection-associated illnesses and the neuroimmune mechanisms that connect them. The program spans pain, genomics, hormonal biology, autonomic function, and lived patient experience, with the goal of breaking down silos and shaping future research priorities in this space.

EndoRISE is sponsoring the workshop, reflecting our commitment to advancing understanding of complex, often under-recognized multi-system conditions such as endometriosis; a work that connects directly to our biorepository's mission here in CT.
