The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) is pleased to announce that the new EMERGE Phase 3 – Bridge Support program is now open for applications. UCH faculty are encouraged to explore the HCRAC Emergency Grant program. Eligible faculty can apply using the UConn Quest Portal (NetID required).
EMERGE Phase 3 is designed to provide essential bridge support when funding for an ongoing, externally funded project has been completed, and anticipated follow-on funding has not yet been secured. The purpose of this OVPR support mechanism is to maximize the potential of applicants to re-establish extramural research funding with the shortest possible period of interruption.

The OVPR-Research Development Services (OVPR-RDS) team is ready to host (virtual) Teams Internal Funding Office Hours where faculty can share their novel seed grant project ideas and ask questions about any of the internal funding programs.
