Human Resources has partnered with UConn's Life Purpose Lab to offer in-person Career Purpose Workshops for faculty and staff in July 2026.
Your Next Chapter at Work: A Purpose Workshop for Finding Career Clarity
Most of us spend our careers moving forward without stopping to ask whether we're headed in the right direction. This workshop gives you the space and tools to find clarity, direction, and renewed energy in your work.
Through guided exercises, small-group conversations, and personal reflection, you'll explore what gives you a sense of purpose at work, what you want more of, and what concrete steps can move you toward a more meaningful career.
You’ll explore where you are now, what matters to you, and how to shape what comes next with greater clarity and intention.
In this workshop, you will:
- Clarify what makes your work feel meaningful
- Identify your strengths, values, and sources of energy
- Explore possibilities for growth, renewal, or change
- Develop concrete next steps for your next chapter
- Learn a practical framework for thinking about purpose across your career
Participate in this workshop if you are ready to pause, reflect, and think more intentionally about what you want from the next stage of your career.
These workshops will be held in person on the Storrs campus and delivered over two days, totaling eight hours of reflection, discussion, and practical exercises.
Registration is open to all employees. The cost for two four-hour sessions is $63 per person, which covers materials that participants receive. Employees may participate without using PTO.
Upon submission, this form will route to the employee's supervisor for signature and a KFS account.
