The One Card Office would like to clarify that UConn Husky One Cards are not issued based on undergraduate or graduate affiliation. All student Husky One Cards display “Student,” regardless of academic program level.
Any new, active student can upload their photo online by following the Online Photo Submission directions. The process includes uploading a government-issued ID for identity verification. Once approved, the student photo is typically updated in Student Admin roster the following day. If they do not need a physical card, they can still upload their photo so that it displays in Student Admin roster.
Students transitioning from an undergraduate program to a graduate program should continue using their current valid UConn Husky One Card. A new Husky One Card is not required to reflect graduate status, and students do not need to submit a new photo solely for this purpose.
Please note that HuskyCT also allows students to upload a personal profile photo. This is not verified against a government-issued ID and is outside the One Card photo submission process.
