Target Audience: Faculty, staff, residents, and students interested in clinical research.
Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to): 1) Define the importance of effective patient communication in health professions education, practice, and clinical research; 2) Describe the evidence base supporting simulation-based learning to develop communication skills for healthcare providers; 3) Explain how an AI chatbot can be integrated into health professions education to simulate patient interactions and support skill development; 4) Assess the strengths and limitations of AI chatbot-based communication training relative to traditional instructional methods.
