  • Respondus Monitor: Second Camera Feature

LockDown Browser + Respondus Monitor have recently released a new feature allowing instructors to enable the use of a second camera.

Instructors can now require the use of a second camera in addition to a webcam when enabling LockDown Browser with Respondus Monitor on assessments. This option requires students to have access to a mobile device, such as a phone or tablet. Instructors can customize the instructions that students receive to determine how the second camera is positioned. Default placement requires students to position the second camera so it shows their screen, keyboard, mouse, and face in the video.

More information can be found by visiting Respondus Technical Support: Setting Up a Second Camera for a Responus Monitor Exam.

To enable LockDown Browser + Respondus Monitor, instructors can visit our KB page: LockDown Browser in Ultra Course View
