Men of Pause: A Community Conversation with Men on Menopause
The Men of Pause, hosted by the UConn Health Disparities Institute, is a FREE event where men learn about menopause and midlife changes affecting their partners, families, and loved ones. As Men’s Health Month in June approaches, we invite men to watch The (M) Factor documentary and join a guided conversation about support, relationships, and men’s health, including andropause (often called the male menopause). Our goal is to reduce stigma, build understanding about menopause, support stronger relationships, and help men feel more confident in supporting the people they love and care about.
This event is designed primarily for men who are welcome to bring a partner, family member, or supporter.
What to expect:
· Documentary film screening
· Moderated group conversation
· Community connection
· Resources and information
· Brunch provided
The event focuses on men's learning and engagement but welcomes partners and supporters.
