The HRP Education & Outreach team is piloting a new Principal Investigator–Led Compliance Review process, similar to a quality assurance activity, to proactively support compliance with human research requirements. We are looking for investigators and study team members to help us refine it before it goes into effect.
Why participate: This pilot is educational and quality focused, not evaluative. Your feedback will help us ensure the process is clear, practical, and investigator friendly. Feedback will be used only to improve the tool and will not be used for IRB review or compliance actions.
We’re seeking PIs, study coordinators, or study team members with active minimal risk research (Exempt or Expedited) to review a draft compliance checklist and complete a short feedback survey.
What participation involves:
- Review the draft PI‑Led Compliance Review form
- Optionally apply it to one of your exempt or expedited studies
- Complete a brief feedback survey (you may delegate this to a study team member)
Time commitment: approximately 30–60 minutes
Please note: This pilot is only for minimal risk (Exempt or Expedited) studies and does not apply to full board or FDA regulated research.
Interested volunteers may send an email to hrp-education@uconn.edu by May 1, 2026, and the E&O team will send a copy of the forms.
Thank you for helping us build a more effective and supportive process.
