UConn Health Laboratory Medicine is requesting whole blood donations from healthy donors with no prior history of coagulopathy or on coagulation-affecting medications on the following days:
Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 10, 2026
We will collect 5 tubes to verify reference intervals for several chemistry and TEG 6s validation. The blood draw will be performed at JDH draw station at 7:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. This donation needs to be timed, so contact Denise Conderino (dconderino@uchc.edu) to set up the appointment date/time. The donors will be compensated $15.00 in the form of voucher that can be used at UConn Health cafeteria.
Criteria: Must be >18 years old. No History of coagulopathy. Not on DOAC, warfarin, or coagulation-affecting medications.
Under SM1243, clinical operation in UConn Health Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is IRB Exempt.
