  • 3/6 GRADCHAT: First Gen Grad Student Focus.

    GRADCHAT is a relatively new forum for graduate students to discuss topics that impact graduate school experience. The purpose of GRADCHAT is to foster community and connection among graduate students, especially students representing marginalized groups. From time to time, special guests may be featured in a GRADCHAT session, but GRADCHAT is one way we can have open dialog about issues that matter. All sessions are held virtually and will NOT be recorded.  

    Spring 2026 GRADCHAT Sessions 

    • March 6 – First-Generation Graduate Student Focus (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM) 

    • March 27 – Visible and Invisible Disabilities: Resources for Graduate Students (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM) 

    • April 10 – International Graduate Student Celebration (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM) 

    • April 24 – NEM Crossover Event: The Role of Mentorship and Advising (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
