Healing Words: The Role of Narrative in Health and Well-being

Our upcoming conference will feature interactive workshops, poster and paper presentations, and structured networking opportunities during the awards reception on March 5th. We are honored to host Dr. Feliciano Villar, Full Professor in the Department of Cognition, Development, and Educational Psychology at the University of Barcelona, Spain as our keynote speaker.
Dr. Villar will be presenting the talk Narrative Care for People Living with Dementia: Difficulties and Strategies. The aim of the talk will be discussing the feasibility of narrative interventions (defined as ‘narrative care’) to sustain identity among people with dementia. UConn faculty, staff and students can attend for free, but please register using 26_Husky as the code.
