  • Grant Support for Faculty

Faculty from any discipline are welcome to take advantage of this opportunity. The Neuropolicy Grant Writing Program pairs students with UConn faculty to support funding proposals across disciplines. Students are matched to professors based on academic background and research interests, and both students and faculty are screened prior to matching. Faculty will have the opportunity to review a prospective student’s resume before confirming a match. This service is being offered free of charge and students are volunteering their time.

Participating students will be trained in grant writing before beginning the program. While most students will not have prior grant-writing experience, they will be mentored throughout the process by students who do have experience. Depending on faculty needs, support can range from one to multiple students. There is also the opportunity to continue working with the same student into the fall semester if the partnership is successful. The final opt-in deadline is February 20th and student matches will be confirmed by February 23rd, with the potential to start sooner.
