The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) is currently accepting faculty submissions for the SHARE Virtual Summer Apprenticeship Program.
The SHARE program creates opportunities for undergraduates majoring in social sciences, humanities, and arts disciplines to work closely with a faculty mentor on a virtual research or creative project during the summer.
This program is designed for early-career students with little or no prior experience, helping them develop foundational research skills and establish mentoring relationships.

Funding:
Student apprentices can earn up to $1,538, paid as hourly wages, to support approximately 90 hours of remote project work over the summer. OUR covers the cost of these wages.
Submit an Apprenticeship:
To participate, please submit a brief description of your research or creative project and the ways an apprentice can contribute using the SHARE Virtual Apprenticeship Description Form found on the faculty website.
Deadline:
Faculty submissions are due by Friday, February 20, 2026. Student applications will open in early March 2026.
