  • VPN for Call Center/Jabber Use

    Change: Before using the Jabber softphone service on- or off-campus, you must first log in to the University’s VPN. See these instructions on the Knowledge Base to set up the Cisco Secure Client.

    Who is affected: Users of the Contact Center Express (CCX) with Jabber softphone service

    What is CCX and Jabber: CCX is a call center management solution, and Jabber lets you manage phone calls from the Jabber app rather than a desk phone. When used together, call center staff can handle calls on any device with a Jabber app.
