The UConn Spirit Awards recognize staff and faculty at Storrs and regional campuses for exceptional contributions that reflect our mission and core values. These awards highlight teamwork, civility, and community-building across the University.
Award Categories
- Unsung Hero (up to 2 winners)
- Rising Star
- Team Award (up to 2 winners)
Special Citations such as Inclusive Excellence or University Citizen can be added to any nomination to spotlight unique impact. All nominations are considered equally, with or without a citation.
Nominations for the 2026 Spirit Awards will be accepted through Friday, February 6th.
