Every day UConn faculty, students, alumni, and staff question, collaborate, and explore. They make the world a better place.
And every day University Communications, home of UConn Today and UConn Magazine, enthusiastically publicizes those achievements. But we do more than that: We make art. Therefore, it made sense to create a physical space to showcase some of that art.
Lakeside Gallery is the newest gallery on the Storrs campus, and the only one dedicated to the work of University Communications staff.
For two more weeks, visitors to Lakeside Gallery will enjoy “Selected Magazine Portraits 2002–2024,” featuring University photographer Peter Morenus’ favorite portraits from his work in UConn Magazine. After that, the exhibit will highlight Experiential Global Learning program illustrations by senior graphic designer John Bailey ’84 (SFA).
