Student participation is the never-ending thorn in many a professor's side. What worked before, doesn't anymore; obligations and class sizes are rising; and students seem less prepared than ever. Join this workshop to talk through practical strategies for generating, facilitating and maximizing the utility of class discussion and active learning. From new technologies to reclaiming the old school, come to discuss and share what works, what doesn't and what we can do going forward.
