Universal Design for Learning – Foundations
Friday, January 16, 12:00-12:50
Presenter: Andi Kent
Universal Design is an approach that says products and environments should be accessible to the widest range of peoples possible, regardless of ability or disability. When applied to Learning spaces, Universal Design asks us to critically evaluate and eliminate barriers to learning. This introduction to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) will focus on the concepts of usability and feedback, asking us to reflect on what, why and how we teach.
