January 5, 2026, 6:00 PM – January 7, 2026, 9:00 AM
The Office of the VP for Research (OVPR) Research IT Services will upgrade the InfoEd eRA portal for Storrs and regional campuses. During this time, InfoEd will be offline and unavailable for:
- Sponsored program proposals
- IRB/IACUC protocols
- Faculty consulting requests/reconciliations
- COI disclosures
What to Know:
- Log out and close your browser before 6 PM on Jan 5.
- Upgrade includes performance improvements and bug fixes.
- UConn Health InfoEd is unaffected; upgrade scheduled later in 2026.
- External sponsor submissions are not impacted.
- OVPR staff cannot process records electronically during the upgrade.
- OVPR staff access for testing/validation will begin in the afternoon on January 6.
- Linked systems (ERC, Current & Pending Support, AR Billing, SPS dashboards) will not update and may have limited access.
After Upgrade:
- Clear browser cache (Ctrl + Shift + Delete) before logging in.
- Normal access resumes once service is restored on Jan 7.
