Dear University of Connecticut Community,
It is with mixed emotions that I announce the upcoming retirement of Lisa Roberts, who has been a dedicated member of the UConn research community for 30 years.
Throughout her tenure, Lisa has served key roles within the Department of Animal Science, Animal Care Services, and Research Integrity and Compliance, working closely with countless faculty, staff, and students. Lisa’s passion for research and animal welfare has left a lasting impact and made her a trusted and valued colleague across the university.
We will truly miss Lisa’s warmth, humor, and wealth of institutional knowledge, but we are thrilled for her as she begins this next chapter — one we hope is filled with new adventures and plenty of time by the ocean!
Please join me in expressing our gratitude to Lisa for her extraordinary service to UConn research and in wishing her all the best in the years ahead. We will celebrate her accomplishments at a gathering on December 18, 2025 from 2-4pm in ESB 121 and we hope you can join us.
