After briefly reviewing university-wide expectations for W courses, we'll focus on pragmatic strategies for making writing-intensive courses across the disciplines more engaging, effective, and inclusive. We'll also discuss how to account for generative AI in course design and teaching and address whatever questions you wish to bring up.
All faculty and staff who are teaching any course that involves writing are invited.
This orientation is required for all graduate students who teach or assist with a W course or lab.
