  • 12/18 Retirement Julie Posa

    Dear University of Connecticut Community,

It is my privilege to announce the retirement of Julie Posa, who will be concluding an extraordinary 40-year career at the University of Connecticut at the end of this month.

Over the past four decades, Julie Posa has been an invaluable member of the Registrar Office, contributing not only exceptional skill and dedication but also an unwavering commitment to UConn’s mission. Her deep institutional knowledge, professionalism, and genuine care for our students, colleagues, and the broader community have left a lasting impact on all of us.

During her time here, Julie has played a vital role in shaping our department’s success, helping strengthen programs, supporting new initiatives, and offering mentorship and guidance to countless colleagues throughout the years. Her presence has been a steady source of leadership, positivity, and integrity.

While we will greatly miss Julie’s expertise and warm presence, we are incredibly grateful for her 40 years of service and the many contributions that have enriched our community. Her legacy will continue to resonate long after retirement.

Please join me in thanking Julie Posa for her exceptional dedication and in wishing her health, happiness, and new adventures in the years ahead. We will be celebrating her accomplishments at a gathering on December 18, 2025 from 12-2pm, and I hope you will join us in honoring her remarkable career.
