Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) are noted for developing critical, creative thinking skills that lead to increased visual literacy for students across all fields of study. It has a long tradition in medical and museum education, but has seen increasing use in college courses for good reasons:
VTS is implementing collaborative, student-centered teaching that improves critical thinking skills and fosters inclusive community-building dialogue through facilitated discussions of visual objects.
