  • NIH T32 Training Opportunity: Cog. Neuro. of Comm.

    The NIH NIDCD-funded T32 program, Cognitive Neuroscience of Communication-CT (CNC-CT), is now accepting applications for 2-year PhD and postdoctoral fellowships. Fellows will receive specialized training in neuroimaging methods and in basic and clinical science related to communication disorders, while working with a diverse team of mentors in Psychological Sciences and Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, with a focus on language, hearing, and cognitive neuroscience. 

    Eligible applicants should contact one of our CNC-CT Mentors prior to completing an application. Please note that all applicants must be US Citizens or green card holders. 

    Predoctoral Applications will be accepted until 11:59PM on February 1, 2026, and Postdoctoral Applications will be accepted until 11:59PM on April 1, 2026, for fullest consideration. **Please note, Predoctoral Applications were previously stated as having a March 1st deadline- this is nocorrect.**

    Our trainees will receive: 

    • Stipend support for two years at full-time 12-month UConn levels (no teaching requirement) 

    • Tuition & health insurance coverage (Tuition Coverage is applicable to PhD Students only) 

    • Annual travel & research allowance 

    • Access to a pool of 240 MRI scan hours, as well as ready access to other tools, including EEG/ERP (in and out of scanner), TMS, tDCS, and eye tracking facilities. 

    • Available funds for specialized methodological training
