The OVPR is pleased to announce that Dr. Matthew Mroz will serve as interim Director for Research Development, effective immediately. In this role, he will oversee the critical functions of Research Development and Research Communications.
Matt has done an exceptional job as Manager of Research Development, working with a talented team to embolden UConn’s research faculty and help them seek internal and external funding. He has been a steady, intelligent, and calming presence amid a challenging research landscape and has worked tirelessly to ensure that faculty are informed and supported.
