    Dear UConn Asian/Asian American Faculty & Staff community:   
     
    ​Our faculty and staff affinity group charter was approved recently​, paving the way for this election to follow a revised leadership structure. 

     

    We are seeking nominations for the following 8-11 positions to serve on A3FSA’s Executive Committee (ExCo): 

    • Chair 

    • Vice Chair (Chair Elect) 

    • Treasurer 

    • Secretary 

    • Membership and Outreach Coordinator 

    • Cultural Programming Coordinator 

    • At-Large executive committee members representing diverse departments and campuses (2-5 positions). 

    All Executive Committee officers shall serve two-year terms beginning January 1 following their election year.  

    • Officers may seek re-election for one additional consecutive term, serving a maximum of four consecutive years in the same position.  

    • After completing a maximum of two consecutive terms, former officers must observe a two-year waiting period before becoming eligible for re-nomination to any Executive Committee position.

    Please contact nominees and confirm their willingness to serve if elected. Multiple nominations are accepted.

    • Nominations must be received by Thursday, November 13, 2025, 5:00 p.m.   

    • An election ballot for voting will be circulated to members in late November 2025.
