The UCH REDCap application system will undergo routine monthly maintenance on Thursday, October 30, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. During this time, REDCap will be unavailable while we perform a scheduled upgrade that includes important security patches and bug fixes. For more information: REDCap Upgrade Details.
Impact on Development & Production:
- REDCap will be offline and inaccessible during the window.
- Users cannot create new projects or access existing ones.
- Survey emails will be paused until the upgrade completes.
- Survey links will show a “REDCap is offline” message if clicked.
Recommended Action Needed:
- Download and save a backup of your projects and data before the Production upgrade. (This is also recommended as a routine practice. See: Managing Your Data.)
- Mobile app users: Please sync all data from your devices to your REDCap projects before the upgrade begins. Offline data collection can continue during the outage, but online sync will not be available until the upgrade finishes.
We appreciate your patience while we complete this work. If you have time‑sensitive activities scheduled during this window, please plan accordingly.
We also encourage all users to add the REDCap Maintenance Schedule to their calendars to assist with planning and avoid interruptions to study activities.
