  • Senior Year Experience (SYE) Instructors Needed

    Seeking Instructors for the Spring 2026 Senior Year Experience (SYE) One-credit Course 

    Developed and managed by the Center for Career Readiness and Life Skills, the class prepares graduating undergraduates for their transition to life beyond UConn. Course content includes but is not limited to Career Readiness, Career Management, Financial Literacy, Organizational Culture, and Reflection.

    • Though the Career Center oversees the course and overall process, individual sections are taught by Career Center staff, university advisors, and faculty
    • Courses can be taught through multiple modalities: in-person, hybrid, synchronous, or asynchronous
    • Class size ranges from 12 to 50
    • UNIV 4800 is open to all seniors
      • 4820 is a subset based on major or other group (ex: there are sections for Psychological Sciences, Allied Health, Regional Campuses, and SSS students) - both 4800 and 4820 are S/U and graded on completion
        • 4840 is a similar premise yet is letter graded
    • The syllabus, course slides, class content, and HuskyCT Ultra are provided for instructors to use and adapt
