The Office of Sustainability hosts Haunted HEEP (Hillside Environmental Education Park) every October to introduce UConn students to our office and the trail system behind the Innovation Partnership Building. This mile-long haunted hike is scattered with creepy scenes acted out mostly by students, but sometimes by staff and departments! You'll get in front of 1,200+ students and have a blast with your co-workers. Past scenes included mad scientist (with chemical 'experiments'!), crazy taxidermist (thanks CT Museum of Natural History), and chainsaw chase (UConn Forestry).
Date: Wednesday October 29 (rain date Oct 30)
Time: Arrive at 4:30pm (or earlier) to set up your station. Event open from 7-9:30pm. Clean up until 10pm.
This is an excellent opportunity to connect with a broad sector of students from all different majors.
