On Sunday, October 5, 2025, UConn Avery Point is proud to serve as the host site for the American Heart Association’s 2025 Eastern Connecticut Heart Walk.
The walk kicks off at 10:00 a.m. on our beautiful shoreline campus, and we can’t wait to see our community come together in support of this life-saving cause.
Our UConn Avery Point team—made up of faculty, staff, students, and family members—will be walking and fundraising to help the American Heart Association continue its vital work.
When you register, you're helping:
- Save more babies and kids who have congenital heart defects
- Train thousands in life-saving CPR
- Fund groundbreaking brain and heart research
- Champion health equity for all
