  • Thinking Beyond UConn: A Career Purpose Workshop

Thinking Beyond UConn is a great fit for anyone who’s spent years building their career and is now ready to take a step back, reflect, and plan for what’s ahead.

Human Resources, in partnership with UConn’s Life Purpose Lab, invites faculty and staff to join Thinking Beyond UConn, an in-person Career Purpose Workshop happening this October on the Storrs campus.

This workshop is designed for professionals who are starting to think about the next chapter of life and work. Whether you're exploring new interests, thinking about how to keep making a difference, or just looking for a little more clarity, this is a chance to step back and reflect.

Together, we’ll look at how purpose shows up in different parts of life — work, relationships, recreation, and personal growth. Through guided reflection, writing, and small group conversations, you’ll explore what’s most important to you now and in the future. By the end, you’ll walk away with three possible paths forward, shaped by your own values and experiences.

Registration is open to all employees. The cost for two four-hour sessions is $52 per person, which covers materials that participants receive. Employees may participate without using PTO.

Upon submission, this form will route to the employee's supervisor for signature and a KFS account.
