Faculty and Staff involved with experiential learning courses (undergraduate and gradute) are invited to join the Center for Career Readiness and Life Skills Experiential Learning (EL) Council. Formerly known as the Internship Council (which has been dormant for a few years) the EL Council will have a broader focus to include faculty and staff who are also connected to practicums, field work, clinicals, student teaching, research, service learning, and cooperative education (co-op), as well as internships. This group traditionally meets two – three times a year or as needed; your participation allows you to receive key EL information that may impact student learning and opportunities, as well as your courses and programs.
The council’s first meeting of the year is scheduled for Friday, September 12th, at 12:30 pm in Homer Babbidge 1102 on the Storrs campus, for those able to attend in person; the meeting will be live streamed via Teams for those who elect to join virtually. Please complete this brief registration form to receive a calendar invitation and the Teams link for virtual attendance.
