The Common Curriculum Committee (CCC) seeks new members to serve as reviewers on its subcommittees. Members must be fulltime faculty members, but can be any rank or tenure/in-residence status. We gladly accept volunteers from any department for any TOI or competency area, but our current priority needs are for TOI-4 and Themes members. Here are some details:
- Subcommittees often conduct review asynchronously but may also meet remotely on occassion. TOI-4 does meet remotely every week or two when there is business, but you can send notes if you cannot make the meeting time. Themes will likely meet remotely when there are proposals. We expect a small uptick in proposals this year for Themes.
- Last year was extremely busy with the CC transition, but we expect course workflow levels to largely return to normal this year. We estimate that members may only need to commit 1-2 hours every week or two to course/theme review.
- Subcommittee members do NOT attend the (virtual) full CCC+ committee meetings.
