Syllabus Basics and Refreshers
Online
Presenter: Tina Huey
Do your students read the syllabus? Do you want them to? The syllabus can serve four functions: it is a contract, a source of inspiration, a blueprint, and a reference. In this presentation you will learn the purposes of a syllabus; UConn-specific syllabus requirements, resources, and templates; ways to improve your syllabus for accessibility and engagement. You are encouraged to share your questions, ideas, and experiences.
