  • 6/20 Project Management Professional Training

    This Project Management Professional (PMP)® training course, sponsored by the University of Connecticut (UConn) School of Business Digital Frontiers Initiative, will be held in-person at the UConn Stamford campus starting June 20.

    This five-day course will be held on Fridays and Saturdays over three weeks: June 20-21, June 27-28, and July 11. You will learn the modern techniques of managing projects via the waterfall and Agile methods.

    This course is the educational portion for those interested in taking the PMP or CAPM certification exam. It provides 35 PDU's. The cost is $2,295. UConn and UConn Health staff, faculty and students can use code UCONN15 for a 15% discount.

    *The CAPM Certification is for project managers, or those planning to become one, but lack the necessary experience needed for the PMP. CAPM certification is a lower level certification, which eliminates the PMP's 35 PDU training requirement. Once certified as a CAPM you just need the experience to take the PMP exam.
