Struggling with messy data or overwhelmed by stats?
UConn's Statistical Consulting Services is offering a practical, no-jargon workshop designed for researchers working with complex data—like biomarkers, metabolites, proteins, or survey results.
We’ll cover real-world challenges like small sample sizes, too many variables, and missing data. You'll learn how to apply both classical (like t-tests, ANOVA) and modern (like limma, LASSO, and sPLS-DA) analysis tools with hands-on examples.
No coding or stats background needed.
All data and code are provided, and you'll leave with techniques you can actually use.
Dates: July 9th to 11th (9am to 5pm)
Location: Storrs, School of Business (BUSN 321) [in-person only]
Cost: $450 for UConn affiliates. Inquire for external rates
