Hello Everyone,
Another reminder that UConn Immigration Rights Initiative (UIRI) is hosting a paint night fundraiser on the evening of Wednesday, June 4th to support our efforts to advocate for immigrant and refugee rights through clinical asylum evaluations, education, and community outreach, including our collaborations with local refugee resettlement organizations.
Come socialize with us 🙂 , be inspired by artwork/music 🎨 🎼 by artists who are/were refugees, paint the evening away 🍪🍹, all while supporting a good cause! No prior painting experience is required.
All are welcome (students, faculty, staff, family, friends) – we ask you to donate at least $15 per person and sign up here by Tuesday, May 20th!! The deadline to sign up is soon approaching!!! See flyers attached.
What: UIRI Paint Night Fundraiser
When: Wednesday, June 4th, 6:00-8:30 PM
Where: Massey Auditorium, UConn Health, Farmington
Materials: We will provide paint supplies to all those signed up to attend. Canvas tote bags available while supplies last!
Food and drink will be provided 😄
If you cannot attend the event, but would like to support our fundraiser, your donations alone are welcome (To donate only and not paint, Venmo @Isha-Walawalkar)!!!
