UConn Accessibility & Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Summit - May 19, 2025
We are pleased to announce an event designed to support instructors and staff in making course sites, assessments, instructional materials, and websites accessible to all.
This event is especially important for instructors teaching in online spaces, teaching with technology, and distributing digital instructional materials (including Word, PDF and PPT files). A number of sessions at the event are designed to help you create more inclusive, accessible, and engaging courses.
Some of the sessions instructors will find invaluable include:

- How to Navigate Student Accommodations (AM & PM Sessions Available)
- Introduction to Neurodiversity
- Making Digital Instructional Materials and Course Sites Accessible (AM & PM Sessions Available)
- Introduction to Disability Theory and Models
- Rubrics and Accessible Assessments
- Creating Accessible STEM Documents

Join us and discover how you can eliminate barriers to student success.
