Summer Mentor/Mentee Training for Grads and Postdocs
Grad students and post-docs are often in the squishy middle of a mentoring sandwich, mentoring less experienced students but still needing mentorship from their advisors.
Come learn how to be more effective as both a mentor AND mentee through an innovative application of CIMER’s evidence-backed mentor and mentee training curricula from Rachel Prunier, PhD, a trained CIMER trainer.
We will meet for 1.5 hours weekly from the week of May 27th to the week of July 28th, time TBD. Upon completing 6 of the 8 sessions, you will receive a certificate certifying your completion of the CIMER Entering Mentoring training (looks great on a CV!).
This training will be offered in person, with hybrid accommodations as necessary.
Participation is limited to 20 participants. Priority goes to those mentoring undergraduates summer 2025. Otherwise, registration is first come, first serve.
