UConn is partnering with Eversource Energy for the third year in a row to support students interested in designing a clean and just energy future. UConn researchers and Eversource professionals have worked together to identify critical energy questions surfacing across the industry, the state, and within research. The Clean Energy and Sustainability Innovation Program (CESIP) challenges students to research and design solutions centered around a campus-focused initiative (at any of the UConn campuses) or to assist a Connecticut municipality reach their sustainable energy goals. Selected teams will be supported by a UConn and Eversource mentor throughout the summer and have the opportunity to present their research at the annual UConn and Eversource Sustainable Clean Energy Summit. This year’s Summit is unique in that it will be held alongside the 2025 North American Power Symposium on October 27.
Apply today! Applications for CESIP are due May 16, 2025. To read about The Challenge and submit an application, please visit the CESIP website.
