With mixed emotions, the OVPR bids farewell to our colleague and friend, Dr. Curtis Schondelmeyer, who will be moving on to new opportunities after almost seven incredible years at UConn. Since joining the Unversity, Curtis has been an integral part of the Animal Research Program, contributing not only his tremendous expertise but also his kindness, dedication, and unwavering support. His hard work and commitment have left a lasting impact to the UConn program, and we are truly grateful for everything he has done. From the exemplary full accreditation achieved from AAALAC International, to the countless moments of teamwork and leadership, Curtis has been an inspiration to us all. While we will miss him greatly, we are also excited for this new chapter in his journey.
Please join us in celebrating Curtis on Thursday, May 8, in the Whetten Graduate Center 3rd floor conference room from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Curtis, a sincere thank you for your dedication, your leadership, and all the great successes you helped UConn achieve. You will always be a part of our UConn family. Good Luck in L.A.!
Sincerely,
