  • 4/3 REDCap Maintenance

    The UCH REDCap application system will be unavailable on Thursday, April 3rd, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM for a rescheduled upgrade, which includes security patches and bug fixes.

    Impact: REDCap Development and Production will be offline. During this time:

    • Users cannot create new projects or access their existing projects.
    • Survey emails will be halted until the upgrade is complete.
    • Survey links will be inaccessible and will display a "REDCap is offline" message when clicked.
    • Mobile app users are STRONGLY encouraged to sync any data on their devices back to their REDCap project BEFORE the upgrade begins. Although not encouraged, offline data collection may continue in the app during the upgrade; however, the online sync process will not be available until the upgrade is complete.

    We STRONGLY recommend all users download and save a backup of their project and data before the system upgrade. This should also be done on a routine basis. For more information: Managing Your Data.

    I sincerely apologize for this unexpected, last-minute change and fully recognize the potential impact it may have on your workflows—including risks such as protocol deviations, missed participant visits, and other study disruptions. I truly appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to maintain a secure and reliable REDCap system, despite circumstances beyond my control.
